Only state certified individuals may perform septic inspections after December 31, 2007. Septic Scope: Remember It is a requirement now that we dig up both ends of the septic System. This is done by hand in order not to incur the expense of a machine and to reduce landscape disturbance/damage. Landscaping will be violated and we will re-level soils, however we do not re-seed. The scope of work is to: requestand review regulatory documentation, stress, probe, die and explore. If I am unable to determine the location of the tank by hand probing this usually indicates the need to use heavy equipment to expose and remove lid. Additional fees will apply. This scope includes one tank if 2 tanks or tank and D Box are present (and usually only one is present) additional fees will be necessary. Additional fees are rare but sometimes we find some different stuff out there.
